Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

"P" (as named by Evan).

Our day started off with many of our friends playing with one another. Our choice time consisted of the light table, beading, painting and play dough.

The Little Frogs are becoming excellent beaders!

Since today is Thursday, we had music with Jenny. The Little Frogs had so much fun! Jenny gave us shaker eggs to use to help sing some songs.

On our way back to our classroom we found a wagon full of wood and we were trying to figure out where it might have come from. When all of the sudden our friend Dave appeared! He told us that he was going to use the wood to make a fire tomorrow.

After saying our goodbyes to Dave, we walked backwards to our room. When we got there we finished playing and started to clean up for Morning Meeting.

Today was a very special Morning Meeting we had a new friend join us! He is name is Bumpity, he is a friend of Hoppity. The Little Frogs helped explain to Bumpity how to do a Moment of Silence.

After our Moment of Silence Bumpity and Hoppity talked to the Little Frogs about the "friendish" ways we should play with one another.
Then, we read a book called, Kiss a Cow, and talked about where milk and cheese come from. Some friends were very surprised.

Then the Little Frogs found out that Carol had another surprise for them! It was giant building blocks. We tried really hard to see how high we could stack them!

We then ended our morning with what the Frogs do best, playing outside! While out there, we began work on a secret stick project...shhhhhhh.

Before we took our naps we dressed up in sports jerseys that the Turtles gave to us! We only have a few so if you happen to have any laying around the house that you would not mind sharing, we are always willing to take them!
