Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

The Shows Must Go On!

After taking a few pictures of friends through the box, the Little Frogs felt a musical urge. So we got out some instruments and jammed to some of our favorite tunes.

This got us right in the mood for Music with Jenny. We got to play our shaker eggs, and dance around a bit. Then, she put on a pirate hat, read us a pirate story and then sang us a pirate song. We got to say, "ARRRRGH."

We headed back for Morning Meeting. We talked about the exciting activities we had planned for today. First, we were going to take the two colors of flubber that we made yesterday and do an experiment with them. We were going to find out what would happen if we put one at one end of the water table and the other color at the other end. The Frogs were pretty sure that the 2 colors would mix to make a different color, but they had many opinions as to what that color might be.

We were pretty excited about the whole process, so we moved the water table over near the snack table, so we could study the process.

After snack, we had time to help the process along. We love flubber.

Then it was time for the next exciting event of our day - the Theater! We headed over to the Upper School auditorium to watch the Middle Schoolers rehearse, "Suessical, the Musical." The Little Frogs were pretty amazed and enjoyed the singing and dancing. They asked lots of questions about the stage and sett and props. We are hoping to return again to see some of the dress rehearsal.

We stopped to talk about it afterwords, and then it was time for the next exciting part of our morning, Lunch in the Cafeteria!

We found ourselves a table in the middle of the action, and unpacked. It was pretty exciting, and kind of noisy, and the Little Frogs did a great job of eating with the big kids. Most friends said that they would like to go back and do it again. After lunch, we headed back just in time for nap and we were tired!
