Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

We hope that you can join us to view the art, have

        welcome (siblings, grandparents, friends, etc.)

Our Extended Day Program will close at 5 p.m. on April 12, to allow
all of our teachers and families to attend the show.

Inside Outside, Over and Under

The day began with lots of building - mostly garages, to protect the cars from dragons (a little known function of garages).

There were some sword fighting mentoring...

and guitar making.

Then, mysteriously it began to rain blocks and letters, and friends had to find their own shelter.

We all took a trip down to the deep dark cave, to see if we could find a new shelf for our store. Before opening the door, we listened for monsters. We found a shelf and some other cool things. Fortunately, there were no monsters.

After snack, we gathered for Morning Meeting. First, we went on a bear hunt. Then we had our Moment of Silence. It was a good one.

We read a new book, Minerva Louise and the Big Red Truck. It got almost all thumbs up. Then, we got ready for Inside Outside Day. Friends got their name cards and decided whether they would start off inside or outside. Then we headed down to the Turtle room.

Some friends stayed in for awhile, fishing from the boat or playing in the sandbox.

Other friends headed out and we brought out the monkey bars. Friends enjoyed testing their muscles and balance, as they worked their way across the bars.

Other friends worked on the stick house and balanced on the balance beam, while keeping everyone safe from dragons.
