Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

Walking Quietly

This morning we investigated...

...a wind up toy

...ramps..

...and a bunch of different books.

The Jenny came and we had music in our room!

We did a rainbow ribbon dance...

...and sang "The Aquarium" song.

We read a book called, I'm Mighty, about a very strong little tugboat. Friends liked this story a lot.

Next, we took a vote about whether we wanted to eat our lunches over at the picnic tables at the cafeteria. Everyone voted "Yes!'

Then, we brought out a big black bag, and friends guessed what was in it. It turned out to be a keyboard! We all took turns playing it.

Then we packed up our wagon and headed out.

We spotted the the baby groundhogs! So we practiced how to walk Very Quietly, so as not to scare them. This skill will take more practice.

We stopped at the rock pile, and tried Sneaking up the mountain.

Then we climbed many rocks to get to the big kid playground.

We worked our muscles hard.

Then went to have lunch. Some friends from the big kid's school joined us.

We saw the baby groundhogs again on the way back - this time we got much closer.
