Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

Springtime in February

Early this morning, a green ghost invaded the Little frog's room, and we had monster issues for the rest of the day.

In between, we had some time for puzzles...

...and we suited up for sword fighting, which we then took outside.

In Music Class, we got to play a bunch of different drums.

Then we headed back outside, where we: hung our last bird feeders,

filled a giant bucket with sand,

played "Squeeze the Lemon,"

and lots of pretend games. We are getting better and better at using our imaginations.

Our return trip to the Magical Forest was delayed, so we decided to trek to a closer location for lunch. On the way, we had to use our lunchboxes as shields, to protect us from pterodactyls and sundry other beasts and monsters.

We made it to the lunch tables, only to discover that there was a troll living nearby, under the Monet bridge, and we worried about waking him.

We stopped to learn about compost, and then headed over to the Rock Mountain for some climbing and sliding.

We found some cool stuff,

and made a rock pile.

Then had stories up there, before it was time to head back for some rest.
