Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

Elise said, "Call it Yeah."

There was some time for free choice this morning, and friends spent time with the play dough, their furry friends, in boxes and working on the complicated task of beading their names.

Before we knew it, it was time for music class with Jenny. We sang some favorites, and then she brought out a new puppet - A Guinea Pig! The Little Frogs got to name it...she is now "Nellie Nellie Jelly Belly (the 2nd?). We also learned a new turtle song and got to play rhythm on the sticks - which also became noses and antlers.

On the tire swing, there was a great deal of negotiating and helping one another, as friends coached each other about how to get on and found room for everyone to sit.

At Morning Meeting, we practiced criss cross sitting and quieting our bodies.

Then we read a very funny book that starred none other than our very own Nellie!
