Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

More Frog Friends and a Bigger Pond

Today we welcomed some new friends to our room, and they had a chance to check out their new space, as well as one another.

We worked on making our name strips (which we will use to make choices about what we want to do, and to learn names)

Danielle set up the train track.

Friends enjoyed experimenting in the sandbox and with the lights and shadows.

In a very short time, we have discovered that the Little Frogs LOVE BOOKS!

The Turtle class came to visit us this morning, and invited us down to play in their room.

The Turtles have a turtle, named Slider.

They also have a tube that you can talk and listen through.

We made more new friends...

...and worked on some difficult puzzles together.

We also documented our adventures...

...played a little music...

...and continued to work on a difficult puzzle.

When the puzzle was finally complete, we danced for joy!
We headed back to our room for Morning Meeting. This time, during our Moment of Silence, we could hear other children laughing and talking down the hall. We sang our silly song and our name song, then it was time for snack. Today, we had a lot to talk about while we sat together. Everyone shared their favorite part about our visit to the Turtle room. Then it was time to go outside.

We were so busy outside, it was almost impossible to keep up with the Little Frogs. We used every inch of the playground, and almost every piece of equipment. Many of the Frog's were exhausted by the time we went inside. We read, I Ain't Gonna Paint No More, which the Frogs decided that they liked very much. Before we could even believe it, it was time to go home. We cannot wait for next week!
