We began our day with a painting activity - getting our big bulletin board ready for all of our questions
Debbie Green came down to read a few stories.
And we played some rolling ball. The Little Frogs are very eager to test out their bodies - they are developing some great throwing, kicking, catching and jumping skills.
We also put on some music for dancing.
Our overhead projector had some sand in it, so we tried to figure out how to clean it. We went up to the office to get a key and unlocked the closet for the vacuum cleaner. (I only wish that I had the vacuuming enthusiasm of the Little Frogs). It did get most of the sand out, and we deemed it good enough to use.
We had our snack outside and then had some time on the playground.
The Little Frog Teachers noticed again how much our class likes to use their big muscles.
Then we went on another walkabout. We found some new items to add to our "What is this?" collection, as we noticed that the trees and the plants and the bugs are doing all kinds of things we hadn't noticed before.
Look what we caught in a net!
The Little Frogs were very excited to discover the AFS tennis courts, and even more excited to find tennis balls already there! This led us into a frenzy of throwing and catching and kicking and chasing.
Back in our room, we read Ten, Nine, Eight and the Frogs helped count backwards. Then it was time for lunch and a chance to talk about our days adventures.
