Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

Inside/ Outside Day on a Wednesday!

This morning was the return of The Little Frogs Block Band! During Free Time friends built a drum set out of the classroom's big blocks. Friends were drumming and singing to Jambo and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. After we were tired of playing our own music we put our favorite song on the radio ( you guessed it Dynamite) and played Freeze Dance!

Before cleaning up Carol read some friends the book, Herbert the Timid Dragon. The Little Frogs could not stop laughing at Carol's timid dragon voice.

Next, friends cleaned up the room super fast so they could hide from Carol who was in the hallway! First, we tried to hide in the Cozy Box, but not all friends could fit since they have been eating their growing food! So we decided to hide in the Block Area.

We were waiting very patiently and quietly when we heard the door open, it was Carol! When she walked in she said "Where have all the Little Frogs gone?". Thats when we jumped up and screamed "BOO!". Friends were laughing so hard because we scared the potatoes and applesauce out of Carol!

After a delicious snack of alien eyes and noses (apples and Chex) we met for Morning Meeting. Carol read us a book called The Guinea Pig ABC. Whenever Carol read a page that had a letter that was in our name we had to jump up! The Little Frogs are becoming very good at knowing how to spell their names!

Carol and Danielle tried to have a Moment of Silence by themselves but we would not let them! They kept saying "Don't close your eyes!" but we sat nice and still and quiet!

We then read a book called Ten, Nine, Eight. This book was tricky because we had to count different items like toes, sneakers, stuffed animals and buttons! But just like Carol and Danielle this book could not trick us!

To finish off our day we went to the Turtle Room for Inside/Outside Day! If you are thinking what Danielle was thinking "Inside/Outside Day on a Wednesday! Thats ridiculous!", but it was not ridiculous it was FUN!!

Friends who played outside were digging, climbing, running and swinging!

While other friends were inside playing with the cameras and cars!

After Inside/Outside Day we headed into our classroom to give Carol and Danielle all of our growing food to eat!
