Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

Look At Me!

This morning, the Little Frogs came in interested in everything. There were stencils to be made, books to be shared, things to be taken apart, puzzles to figure out, plenty of imagining to dress for, hallways to measure and tales to tell. I have to say, it was a kind of magical morning.

After out Moment of Silence. we read a story and then got ready for Flip Flop day. In the Turtle room, there was real clay out to experiment with, as well as beads, blocks and dramatic play. In our room, the favorite activity was face painting - making ourselves into monsters (or cats or a variety of other abstract things). Some friends asked to have their faces painted, but many elected to do their own, with a little coaching and a table mirror.

We also enjoyed building with the blocks, reading new books and playing in the Flubber table.

Then we had some time outside with our new identities.
