Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

Turtles and Triangles

This morning, there were strange lizards in our room. We used them to slide down the hallway, and then one of our friends figured out that they fit together!

Carol brought in a bag of baby spinach today, washed it and left it on the table. She told the Little Frogs that it was super powerful growing food. Then she ate some. Then she told the Little Frogs that they could feed some to the guinea pigs. The next thing we knew, the Little Frogs were eating it all up! We are fairly certain that they are all taller and stronger today.

We also..built a giant rocket ship...

...and fed the guinea pigs, before we had Morning Meeting.

We got out our book, and made plans for our morning with the Turtles. We decided what we would bring and what we would look for on our walk over.

We had a blast at the Triangle gym. We played with balls and scarves and balloons.

We had our pretzel snack.

And we played a game called What Time Is It Mister Fox?

We stopped to visit our bird friends. Now we know that they are 2 girls and 1 boy, and that they are Zebra Finches.  We figured out that they are called that because they have some black and white stripes.

Inside the school, we heard some music. We peaked in the Music Room, and there were some big kids playing and singing, and we asked them if we could come in.

They played some jazz music for us.

We even got to dance a bit.

There was some new art to look at.

Then we went to the library to check out some new books.

It was time to head back...with a brief stop at the rock pile.
