Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

So Happy Together!

Friends came in this morning and found some new race cars in the room - still in their packages. A committee of highly invested Little Frogs set about working to free them from their wrappings. This proved to be quite a challenge, but they kept at it - giving one another suggestions and encouragement. It took more than 15 minutes to get them all out, but friends were quite proud of their accomplishments. (Note to Parents: This is a really good way to help kids develop hand strength and, more importantly, stick-to-it-iveness...just make sure it's not the shrapnel-like plastic that some toys come encased in).

Afterwords, friends opened up our new store! They decided that they wanted to sell food, so we all took a trip to the basement, to bring back the necessary goods).

Before we knew it, it was time to head off to Movement class with Missy.

We stretched and danced with scarves...

...then we played t-ball!

We also played "Jack-Be-Nimble," and worked hard to understand the rules to this new game.

After snack, we had Morning Meeting. We started with a "Moment of Loudness," then had our "Moment of Silence."

Carol read a new book called, Pigs Love Potatoes," which got about a 50% approval rating - although friends enjoyed helping to add the number of potatoes that the pigs would need.

At Choice Time, friends could: Work on our new Store sign,

work in the Store,

play with Flubber,

or build ramps and tracks for our new cars and trucks. We were all very glad to be back together!
