After everyone had a turn trying on Carol's motorcycle helmet (and trying not to tip over), we headed outside. We took our imaginations with us, our snack and some costumes.
Outdoors, we decorated our swords and the knights protected their castle. We also went in search of bugs - turning over rocks and digging in the dirt. Friends found on manner of creatures and carefully examined their parts and how they moved. Meanwhile, other friends were creating elaborate meals in the sandbox.
Then we set off on an adventure with the Turtles. We loaded up our wagons with bike helmets and extra swords and were on her way. Friends had a wonderful morning on the "Big Kids Playground," continuing their adventure with different, more challenging equipment. The Little Frogs were VERY hungry when we got back. We stopped for a story, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! and then sat down for lunch and storytelling.
