Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

Sword Fighting, Fishing and Goodbyes!

The Little Frogs morning started off with a quick dance party with block guitars. We then headed to music class with Jenny. Jenny told us that we were leaving to go on a quick vacation to Jamaica! When we got there we met a man who "Tallied Bananas" and we got to swim with the fishes "Under the Sea". We also had two special friends that came to Jamaica with us that made it lots of fun!

Jenny also taught us how to do the limbo. The Little Frogs had a lot of fun!

After Music we headed out to the playground. Some friends built thrones out of the blocks and pretended they were Kings of the playground.

We had our Morning Meeting and Moment of Silence on the tree stumps. The Little frogs made Carol a   Bon Voyage card with their pictures so she can take us with her in her suitcase!

The Kindergarteners were walking by and joined us for our Moment of Silence. The Little frogs explained how they did their Moment of Silence.  The Kindergarteners were very impressed with how quietly and still we were able to be.

We then worked together and came up with a list of what toys we wanted to bring outside to play with. The list consisted of balls, animals, swords and cars. We then headed out to the soccer fields behind our playground to spend the rest of the morning.

We had one last sword fight with Carol, and Carol lost!

After we rangled all of our animals, parked our cars, played our soccer games and won our sword fights we had our lunch picnic style outside.

We finished up our day fishing off the bridge. We did not find any trolls but we did catch very big leaf sharks!

After we woke up from our naps we sadly said our goodbyes to Carol. We are going to miss her very much! The Little Frogs will be counting down the days until Carol will be back and dancing to Dynamite with us!

WE LOVE YOU CAROL'D!! WE HOPE YOU HAVE NO FUN!!!! ALSO DONT WORRY WE WILL NOT EAT OUR GROWING FOOD!!!!
