Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

A Meeting Moving Monday

We started the day with a little Guinea Pig bonding - they miss the Little Frogs when they are away all weekend (and vice versa).

Some elephants appeared, and then a game of balloon baseball began.

Some art was created,

and beads were strung.

A very crowded train came through.

Then the Frogs were off to Movement class. Missy set up one of their favorite activities, the obstacle course. Each week, the Little Frogs test their abilities - running, jumping, skipping and crawling - and each week, their skills improve.

Back in our room, we gathered for Morning Meeting, and our Moment of Silence.

Then we talked about the Secret Project we are working on...

and we got a card and a present! Elise and her family sent the Little Frogs a card and some special cookies. They were made from a recipe brought over from Italy by Elise's great grandmother. We had them for snack, and they were DELICIOUS!

After working on our Project, we headed off to collect more big sticks for our stick house.

We had to use many muscles to carry our giant sticks.

Then we discovered a pile of bush and sticks. We tested our balance by taking turns crawling over it. It was great to be out in the crisp chilly air!
