Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

Rock Star Worm Hunters!

The Little Frogs classroom was taken over by Rock Stars! Friends strummed on the guitars and banged on the  drums while singing a song from their greatest hits album, the ABC's.

Other friends built impressive cubes and towers with the magna-tiles and blocks.

Danielle read "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" to friends. Some friends kept screaming "NO!" when the pigeon asked if he could drive the bus, while others felt bad and said "Sure!" But do not worry the pigeon did not end up driving the bus in the end.

Some of the Turtles came to our classroom to ask if we would like to have inside/outside day. We gladly said "Yes" since it was such a beautiful day! But before heading outside Carol reads us a book call The Three Little Aardvarks. Friends kept saying they were bears but Carol and Danielle were convinced they were aardvarks!

We headed out to the playground to join the Turtles for snack. We had delicious pretzels and juicy oranges.

The Little Frogs love moving all the rocks on the playground and digging into the dirt to look for worms. Some friends found long skinny worms while others found short plump worms. Friends then put their worms into buckets or frying pans to observe each worm. Do not worry no worms were cooked in the frying pan!

While we were on the playground each friend met with Carol and told her a story. Carol then typed up what we said on her computer!

After we caught all the worms and told all of our stories we met with Carol were she read us a book. The book was called The Little Caterpillars. Friends loved this book because some of the caterpillars that were in the book we see on the playground! Next, friends headed inside to eat their growing food and to nap in their cocoons.
