Welcome to the Little Frog Families!

This is the site of our Daily Frog Blog, and one of the ways you can keep up with all the exciting goings on in the Little Frog's classroom. Every day, we will post news about our activities, reflections about the things we are learning, and lots of pictures (and sometimes even mini-movies). On the right side of the blogs is a link called, "Follow by email." If you sign up for this, the blog will be sent directly to your inbox. We encourage you to invite extended family members and interested friends to follow our blog, too.

Architects

Our day started out with a quick Morning Meeting and Moment of Silence. Friends are becoming pros at taking deep breathes, closing their eyes and sitting nice and still. We thought of family and friends that we had spent the weekend with, and put them in our hearts!

When friends arrived there were new toys for us to play with! One was a wooden circus animals that friends could stack and build on top of one another. This was a fun game because when it became super high some friends got nervous and would cover their eyes! Other friends enjoyed playing with the boat, stuffed animals and beads!

WATCH OUT!!! IT MIGHT FALL!!!!

The tray to our Easel was broken, so some of our friends helped replace it with a new one. The Little Frogs love helping out like this because they can use the tools! This allows them to practice some of their fine motor skills as well as hand eye coordination!

We then headed outside to hang bear shaped bird feeders! Friend got to chose where they would like their bear to be hung and Carol helped tie it to the tree! We can not wait to see all the birds that come!

After hanging up our bears we headed to the Turtle Room for Inside Outside day. Inside some of our friends played in the Dramatic play area and some took off their shoes and pretended they were ice skating.

Outside friends pulled other friends in wagons or chased others around the playground.

Some of our friends placed big blocks and boards together and walked across them. The Little Frogs are using their imaginations more and more - it is exciting to see what they will come up with next!
