Just a Walk in the Creek!
The Little Frogs began their day playing outside since it was so beautiful! Friends brought out books from our classroom library to read outside!
Friends also jumped on and popped bubble wrap!
After all the bubble wrap was popped, we joined the Turtles in eating snack! Be aware that your Little Frog may turn into a watermelon because they ate so much during snack!
After snack friends continued to run, swing, bike and slide on the playground!
Debbie also joined us!
Danielle pretended that she was a tickle monster and she ran around tickling friends!
Next, Carol and Danielle called all the Little Frogs over and told us to put our boots on because we were going on a creek walk!
Once in the creek, friends found water spiders. Friends had trouble catching the bugs because they were super fast and could walk on water! The Little Frogs thought that it would be very neat to walk on the water!
We found a whole bunch of water striders...
...and fished for algae.
When there was no longer any water left in the creek because it was all in our boots, we headed back to the playground to dry off!
We finished our morning off by watching the Turtles put on a play. The play was called "The Turtles and the Beanstalk." We gave them a standing ovation! After, we had a Big Dance Party!
